I have a collaborative wet felting practice with Natasha Blush, a friend I've been working with for 5+ years now. Wet felting is a process that uses warm water and soap to massage loose wool fibers into solid felted shapes. The process is not exact or time consuming, which we think makes it an approachable art technique. We often ask for volunteers to join us and learn the basic skills in exchange for their time. Finished pieces can be messy, and always honest in their handmade qualities. We hope that felting can be a process to aid in conversations and experiences surrounding community care and healing.
